A first in South-East Asia - Thai school breaks barriers, grants hairstyle freedom to LGBTQ+

BANGKOK (The Nation Thailand/ANN): It's probably a first in South-East Asia. A well-known secondary public school in Nakhon Ratchasima is now recognising LGBTQ+ students and allowing them to wear their hair short or long according to the gender they identify with.

On Saturday, the Boonwattana School’s students’ council posted an announcement on Facebook that there will be no restrictions on hairstyles for LGBTQ+ students, which won a warm welcome from students and parents alike.
