One dead, two missing in fishing boat crash in central Vietnam

HANOI (Xinhua):One fisherman died and two others went missing on Friday morning after a fishing boat crashed with a cargo ship in the sea off Vietnam's central province of Quang Ngai, Vietnam News Agency reported.

The fishing boat with nine seamen on board was crushed into two pieces, local media VnExpress reported.

Seven of them have been rescued including one dead and six injured.

Local authorities are searching for two missing fishermen. - Xinhua
