Value of prizes to be won at amusement centres and fun fairs in Singapore capped at S$100 from March 1

SINGAPORE: The value of prizes that can be won through games at amusement centres and fun fairs will be limited to a maximum of S$100 from March 1.

A statement from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Feb 1 said the games offered at amusement centres and fun fairs are increasingly based on chance, and high-value prizes such as smartphones are being offered to attract players.
