BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha graced the royal banquet at Istana Nurul Iman to celebrate the newlyweds Prince Abdul Mateen and Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah Adam.
Members of the royal family and the bride’s parents Adam Abdullah and Siti Mariam Isa were also present.
Among the thousands of guests attending the royal banquet were regional and international leaders.
Special guests of His Majesty include the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia Al Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah; King of Bhutan His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck; Filipino President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr and Louise Araneta-Marcos; and Singaporean Prime Minister Dato Laila Utama Lee Hsien Loong and Datin Paduka Seri Laila Jasa Ho Ching.
The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris and Tengku Permaisuri Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin; Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim ; and the Sultanah of Terengganu Sultanah Nur were among the guests.
Members of the royal family of Pahang and Johor were also in attendance.
State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Awang Abdul Aziz read Doa Selamat prior to the start of the ceremony.

Guests comprising state and foreign dignitaries, senior government officials as well as current and former Cabinet ministers showered the royal couple with well wishes while enjoying a lavish spread of delicacies and entertainment by a musical ensemble.
Majlis Istiadat Membaca Doa Selamat dan Menutup Gendang Jaga-Jaga will be held at Istana Nurul Iman today (Tuesday) to mark the conclusion of the 10-day Istiadat Perkahwinan Diraja ceremonies. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
