Binh Duong takes steps to become centrally-run city by 2030

BINH DUONG: The southern province of Binh Duong has issued a socio-economic development plan, focusing on becoming a centrally-run city by 2030, alongside major centres of Hanoi, HCM City, Hai Phong, Danang, and Can Tho.

Accordingly, this locality aims to become a modern and livable urban area by 2030 with an economic growth rate from now to 2030 averaging 9-10 per cent. The transportation system connecting intra-regionally and inter-regionally will be completed to become a trade hub.
