Thunderstorms, strong winds forecast for many parts of Thailand

BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Thunderstorms and strong winds are forecast for 60% of areas in the capital here and its vicinity, as well as many other parts of Thailand.

The Thailand Meteorological Department said on Sunday (November 12) that a new high-pressure system or a mass of cool air of moderate intensity, descending from China, was blanketing the upper northeastern part of Thailand.
