Deaths from dengue raise concern

Health authorities and the public are concerned about the increase in deaths due to dengue fever, as the Ministry of Health most recently reported that a four-year-old girl died from the virus, taking the dengue death toll to 19 in the South-East Asian country this year.

The Ministry has confirmed Laos’ latest dengue fatality reported in south Laos’ Sekong province.
