Move Forward's Pita ready to be PM, invites five other parties to form coalition

BANGKOK (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): The Move Forward Party (MFP), which champions progressive policies that have rattled nationalistic establishments in Thailand, has declared victory over the May 14 election.

Pita Limjaroenrat, the party’s 42-year-old leader said on Monday (May 15) that he had invited five other opposition parties, including Pheu Thai, to form an alliance, and that he was ready to be prime minister.
