Philippines' foreign direct investments net inflows rises 13 per cent in February

MANILA, May 13 (Xinhua): Foreign direct investment (FDI) that flowed into the Philippines rose by 13 percent in February to reach US$1 billion, the Philippine central bank has announced.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said the increase in FDI in February was due to higher non-residents' net investments in debt instruments, notwithstanding lower net equity capital placements and reinvestment earnings.
