Myanmar to allow football fans to enter stadiums for first time since pandemic


YANGON (Xinhua): Football fans will be allowed to enter stadiums in Myanmar for the first time since the start of the pandemic, an official from the Myanmar National League (MNL) told Xinhua on Tuesday (Feb 28).

"Fans are to be allowed to stadiums for the first time since the pandemic starting from the league's week-6 matches," said U Soe Moe Kyaw, MNL's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), adding that the league's week-6 matches will be played in the end of May.
