Chairman of Myanmar's USDP meets youths in Yangon

YANGON (Eleven Media Group/Asia News Network): Khin Yi, chairman of Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) met with youths at Myanmar Convention Center(MCC) in Yangon Region, on Saturday (Feb 25).

In attendance was USDP’s vice-chairman Myo Zaw Thein, Yangon Region USDP’s chairman Khin Maung Soe who is also USDP’s CEC, the CEC members from USDP’s headquarter and 3,226 youths in the Yangon region.

The attendees saluted the State flag and the ceremony was opened by singing of the national anthem.

Later, the USDP chairman extended greetings and explained the background history of Myanmar's political affairs, the needs of current youths and the election which is very important for the nation.

“The USDP has already been registered for the coming election in accordance with the rules and regulations laid down by the Union Election Commission-UEC. The USDP will be competing in upcoming election representing all constituencies across the nation. So, all citizens need to cast the vote for a person or party which will be really serving the public interest and the nation,” said the USDP chairman.

Later the USDP chairman answered questions raised by the youths on youth and technical development, drugs, gambling, health and education.
