A senior Ukrainian ocean engineering expert has joined one of China’s top defence research universities, according to now-censored Chinese media reports.
Yuriy Semenov, who specialises in studying the flow of fluids and related applications in ships and underwater vehicles, started as a full-time professor at the Harbin Engineering University’s College of Shipbuilding Engineering on February 1, the reports said.
