Malaria cases in Cambodia continue to drop

PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): Cambodia recorded 2,005 cases of malaria in the first half of 2022, a drop of three per cent from 2,072 cases over the same period last year, a health official said.

"Of the reported cases, there had been no deaths," Huy Rekol, director of the National Center for Parasitology, Entomology and Malaria Control, told Xinhua on Thursday (July 21).
