Vietnam looks set to boost fruit exports to US

HANOI (Vietnam News/Asia News Network): Vietnam has great potential to increase fruit exports to the US in the future, said Hoàng Trung, director of the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

During Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính's trip to the US in early May, Vietnamese businesses accompanying the Prime Minister met US companies, and the two sides signed many fruit export contracts to the US market, according to Trung.
