VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): Storms have damaged houses, vehicles, and agricultural produce including eight tonnes of rice in four villages of Saravan district, Saravan province.

The storm followed a forecast by the Meteorology and Hydrology Department that many areas of the country would experience rain and strong winds over the past week.
