Numbers still high as Myanmar reports 1,693 new Covid-19 infections, 3 more deaths


YANGON, Feb. 28 (Xinhua): Myanmar reported 1,693 new coronavirus cases on Monday night (, bringing the tally in the country to 587,891, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.

A day earlier, Myanmar had recorded 1,959 confirmed cases.
