US President Joe Biden has cast doubt on Russia’s claims that it has withdrawn some troops from the Ukrainian border, warning that an invasion by Moscow remained “distinctly possible” and urging all US citizens still in Ukraine to leave.
Russian officials said earlier that some forces were returning to their home bases after completing military drills, releasing video footage purporting to show tanks being loaded onto railway cars.
