Minister of Health Dr Mohd Isham has confirmed the first case of the highly transmissible Covid-19 variant Omicron in the Sultanate.
“The case arrived in the country from the United Kingdom on Dec 17, where the person was quarantined on arrival,” said the minister at the daily press conference on Thursday.
