HANOI (Vietnam News/Asia News Network): While the pandemic has badly affected the tourism and hospitality industry in Vietnam, it has led to the development of the country's staycation sector, with many tourists opting for luxury options.

According to the Institute for Tourism Development Research, part of Vietnam National Tourism Administration, staycations are becoming more popular and helping to boost the tourism sectors in big cities.
