SYDNEY, Nov 27 (Bernama): Vietnam's commitment at the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in the United Kingdom’s Glasgow, is a historical turning point in its climate change policy.
Through the commitment made by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the conference, Vietnam has joined hands with about 140 other countries worldwide to achieve the target of net zero emissions by 2050, Dr Do Nam Thang, an expert in environment and climate change at the Australian National University told the Vietnam News Agency (VNA)’s correspondent in Sydney.
