Laos gets US$1mil from Cambodian firm to fight Covid

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): Cambodia’s Prince Holding Group has donated US$1 million to the Lao government in response to calls from Cambodian authorities to strengthen cooperation with Laos in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the Phnom Penh Post.

The chairman of Prince Holding Group - one of Cambodia’s largest and fastest growing conglomerates - Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, handed over the donation last week at the Lao Embassy in Phnom Penh.
