Vietnam reports 5,376 new Covid-19 cases, 808,578 in total and record number of recoveries

HANOI, Oct. 3 (Xinhua): Vietnam reported 5,376 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, including 5,367 locally transmitted and nine imported, according to the country's Ministry of Health.

The new infections brought the country's total tally to 808,578, with 19,715 deaths, the ministry said.
