Covid-19 cases rise to over 10,000 in Laos as 198 cases reported on Sunday (Aug 15)

VIENTIANE, Aug 15 (Xinhua): The total number of Covid-19 cases in Laos has risen to 10,092 on Sunday after 198 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to Lao Ministry of Health.

Deputy Director General of the Department of Communicable Disease Control under the Lao Ministry of Health Latsamy Vongkhamsao told a press conference here on Sunday that 198 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded over the past 24 hours, including 186 imported cases and 12 local transmissions.
