Vietnam and Laos sign multiple pact to boost cooperative ties

HANOI, June 28 (Bernama): Vietnam and Laos signed a series of agreements on Monday to strengthen their "friendly and cooperative ties" following talks between their top leaders, Xinhua and the Vietnam News Agency reported.

The pacts were signed after a meeting between visiting General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong.
