Laos: Multiple billion kips donated for Covid-19 response


VENTIANE, May 2 (Vientiane Times/ANN): State and private sectors have donated more than 32.8 billion kip (US$3.5 million) in cash and in kind recently to helped the government response to the recent Covid-19 outbreak.

The Prime Minister’s Office received almost 6 billion kip, including 33 million kip donated by the Ministry of Technology and Communication, which also made available the LaoKYC application tracking system for use on mobile phones.
