Laos: Luang Prabang under lockdown as Covid-19 cases continues to rise; another 76 new cases reported


VIENTIANE, April 25: Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of Laos, has gone into lockdown along with nine other provinces as Laos experiences its second wave of Covid-19, reports Laotian Times.

A notice issued by the Governor of Luang Prabang, Khamkhan Chanthavysouk, issued on Sunday orders the province to go into lockdown from 6am in the morning until 5 May.
