Brunei: Royal birthday celebrations undiminished by pandemic; no virus cases for 71 days

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 18 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the royal birthday celebrations have been complemented with Zikir and prayers for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s well-being.

This was highlighted by State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned in a special talk to mark the royal birthday, which was aired on Radio Television Brunei (RTB) on Friday (July 17).
