WASHINGTON (Xinhua): It is time for reflection on the consequential relationship between China and the United States as the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted major challenges the world has to tackle together for a better future, Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai said on Thursday (Dec 3).
"It is clear that the post-pandemic world would not be stable and global governance would not be effective without sound and stable relations between China and the US. Therefore it is time for reflection on this consequential relationship." Cui said in his opening remarks at the annual conference of the Institute for China-America Studies (ICAS).
