Taxi association hopes SPAD will take action against errant drivers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Peninsular Malaysia Taxi Operators association hopes the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) will take stern action against errant cab drivers who do not use the meter when ferrying passengers.

Its treasurer Abdul Razak Abdul Aziz said the recent fare hike would improve the taxi industry, which has always faced criticism for drivers who did not use the meters.
