Cops: WhatsApp rumours about Malaysia being Christmas terrorist target are untrue


KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) refuted a rumour claiming that Malaysia is being targeted for attack by a group of terrorists during the Christmas celebration.

Inspector-General of Police Secretariat assistant head (Corporate Communications), ACP Datin Asmawati Ahmad (pic) on Tuesday said the rumour spread through social media like WhatsApp was false.
