Lee Lam Thye: Only 446 Malaysians registered as organ donors since 1976


KUALA LUMPUR: Since 1976 until Jan 31 this year, only 446 organ donors have been registered in the country.

National Organ Donation Public Awareness Action Committee chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said 266 of the donors were Chinese, 116 were Indians, 26 were Malays, 27 were others and 11 were not specified.
