GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Municipal Council will not reintroduce its rat-catching campaign due to fears that unscrupulous people will breed the rodents to be killed later for the RM1 reward each.
Its Public Health Standing Committee alternate chairman Ong Ah Teong said it was also afraid some people might “import” dead rodents from other states to claim the reward.
