JOHOR BARU: Residents in Taman Muhibbah here are living in fear of their homes being washed away due to the soil erosion taking place along the river there.
Motorcycle repair shop owner Yap Paw Heng, 50, said the soil had began crumbling since last year and there was only a buffer of about two metres left between the back of his house and the river - Sungai Tiram - where the erosion was taking place.
