Graduates from FSTEP meet needs of employers better

KUALA LUMPUR: Graduates from the Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (FSTEP) performed distinctly better and met the needs of the employers, said its head Lee Khee Joo.

He said a study, commissioned by FSTEP to assess the performance of its graduates from Batch 4, 5 and 6 at their workplaces compared with graduates directly recruited by the respective financial institutions, showed that the employers preferred FSTEP graduates. He said the FSTEP programme was effective in preparing entry-level executives for their working lives in the financial services industry by inculcating good working attitudes, behaviour and related soft skills.
