Unidentified person burnt to death in car near Chinese cemetery in Perak


IPOH: An unidentified person was burnt to death after a car parked near a Chinese cemetery in Bagan Serai caught fire.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said they received a distress call about the fire at about 2.05pm on Monday (June 10).

He said the identity and gender of the victim is yet to be ascertained.

The victim was seated in the driver’s seat.

“The car was parked near an empty structure with overgrown grass.

“The car was about 50% burnt. The body was handed to the police for further investigations,” he added.
