High Court to hear Tony Pua’s bid to strike out Najib suit on Jan 18

KUALA LUMPUR: Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua's bid to strike out a suit filed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak against him and an online news portal's owner for allegedly defaming him over  1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) will be heard on Jan 18.

High Court judge Justice Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera was also scheduled to hear an application by Najib to remove certain parts in Pua's affidavit on the same day.
