All the world’s a stage, according to William Shakespeare, and nowadays, this is true of the World Wide Web as well. In fact, in the past decade or more, so many ordinary people just like you and me have gained Internet fame from their digital footprints.

Viral videos on YouTube. Pretty pictures shared on sites like Instagram, Imgur or DeviantART. Online comic strips galore. And, of course, not forgetting those cleverly articulated discourses presented through conventional blogs and websites. I’m pretty sure you’d have had a dozen or more names that come to mind as you read this.
