Xiaomi has launched a new lineup of smartphones with the Redmi Note 17 Series, featuring four devices consisting of the Note 17, the Note 17 5G, the Note 17 Pro 5G, and the Note 17 Pro Max 5G.

The Note 17 Pro Max 5G model is equipped with a 6.83in Amoled screen capable of up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the back of the device, the smartphone has a dual camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. There's also a 32-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera on the front.

Under the hood, the Note 17 Pro Max 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor and a 10,000mAh battery, which Xiaomi says can deliver up to three days of use on a single charge.

The battery supports 100W wired charging, as well as 27W wired reverse charging.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G comes in Black, Purple, and Cloud Blush colour options, with two storage configurations: 8GB RAM with either 256GB (RM1,999) or 512GB (RM2,299) internal storage.

Also launching in the series is the Note 17 Pro 5G, which is largely similar to the Note 17 Pro Max 5G model, also featuring a 6.83in Amoled display which goes up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

The camera setup features a 50-megapixel main shooter along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while the front-facing selfie camera uses a 16-megapixel sensor.

It is equipped with a different processor, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, with a smaller 8,340mAh battery that charges at 67W. It also has 22.5W reverse charging over cable.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G comes in Black, Purple, and Sky Blue colour options, with 8GB RAM and either 256GB (RM1,599) or 512GB (RM1,899) internal storage.

Next in the lineup is the 5G variant of the base model in the series, the Redmi Note 17 5G, which features a larger 6.99in Amoled screen.

Unlike the higher-end models, this variant only has a single 50-megapixel camera on the back, with a 16-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera positioned at the top of the screen.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor with a 7,700mAh battery that charges at 45W wired.

The Redmi Note 17 5G comes in Black, Sky Teal, and Celestial Purple, with a choice between two storage configurations: 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, priced at RM1,099, or 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage priced at RM1,299

Unlike the higher-end models, the base and 5G variants only have a single 50-megapixel camera on the back.

Last in the lineup is the base model Redmi Note 17, which is the only one in the series that does not have support for 5G. This variant features the same 6.99in Amoled display as the 5G version.

Other similarities include the 50-megapixel main camera, 16-megapixel selfie camera, and 7,700mAh battery that charges at 45W, and even the colour options: Black, Purple, and Sky Blue.

It does, however, use a different processor: the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2. The Redmi Note 17 is available in a single storage variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage at RM849.

Both the Redmi Note 17 5G and the Redmi Note 17 also support up to 2TB worth of expandable storage.
