Infinix has launched the latest addition to its gaming-oriented midrange lineup, the GT 50 Pro smartphone, featuring a 6.78in Amoled display capable of up to 144Hz refresh rate.
When it comes to the GT 50 Pro's camera, it features a dual system with a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor with optical image stabilisation, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera on the back.
Meanwhile, on the front is a 13-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera.
Powering it is a Mediatek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor and a 6,500mAh battery that charges at 45W wired and 30W wireless.

Those who want to keep device temperatures down during longer gaming sessions can also opt to slap on a magnetically connected cooling fan to the back that also doubles as a charger.
This is on top of the device's internal liquid cooling, which is visible through pipe-like transparent cutouts on the back of the GT 50 Pro, showing flowing water and acting as a visual accent.
Being a gaming-focused device, the GT 50 Pro also comes with capacitive shoulder triggers on the back, similar to the previous generation.

This provides gamers with an additional input option for things like shooting, which can be handy in certain games. The sensitivity of these triggers can further be adjusted depending on user preference to require more or less force to activate.
Infinix also promises at least five years of software updates, along with three major operating system upgrades. Other features include a selection of artificial intelligence tools, such as photo editing tools, and a voice changer for in-game communication.
The device comes in three colour options: Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier, with the option of either 256GB (RM1,899) or 512GB (RM2,199) internal storage and 12GB RAM.

Those who purchase the Infinix GT 50 Pro from now until May 10 will be able to get the device at a discounted price at RM1,699 for the 256GB internal storage model and RM1,999 for the 512GB variant.
Also unveiled at the launch event were the Infinix GTBuds 5 earbuds, priced at RM152, and the GTWatch 5 Pro at RM269.
