PETALING JAYA: myFirst has unveiled its latest instant camera, the Insta Lux, designed with kid- and family-friendly features in mind.
The company says the camera's simple point-and-shoot design, ergonomic form factor and minimal buttons are optimised to fit smaller hands, making it easy for kids to use.
Specs wise, the Insta Lux features dual 5-megapixel front and rear cameras with built-in photo printing capability and a 2.8in IPS colour screen display which can be used to preview images before printing. Powering the device is a 700mAh battery, which takes around 2.5 hours to fully charge.
One notable feature of the Insta Lux is a dedicated selfie button that activates the punchhole selfie camera above the display.
Additionally, the Insta Lux supports memory cards of up to 64GB for storage and comes included with a lanyard. It also comes with 10 pieces of printing paper for instant full-colour printing.
Other devices that myFirst also introduced as part of myFirst’s new lineup includes the MyFirst Sketch Board Pro digital drawing tablet (RM199), a 7in smart family frame called the MyFirst Frame Clario (RM499), and the MyFirst Carebuds Max (RM169).
The company also launched the MyFirst Fone M1 (RM399), a 4G-enabled smartwatch phone designed for kids, offering real-time GPS tracking, voice and video calls, and messaging within the myFirst Circle network, which works as a private, family-managed ecosystem to support safe digital sharing.

MyFirst will be offering the Insta Lux in two colours, Cotton Candy Mix and Gray, with an official pricing of RM799. Malaysians will be able to purchase at MyFirst official website, Shopee, Lazada and official retailers, starting from March 28 onwards.
