The new Apple iOS 26 is one of the biggest updates from the tech giant in more than a decade. It became public just a couple of short weeks ago, but that doesn't mean it didn't come without imperfections.

In a report from 9to5Mac, the iOS 26 bug fixes are directed for iPhone 11 or later, including the new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro across several different features on the device. Some of the issues the bug fixes will address include:

– WiFi and Bluetooth may occasionally disconnect on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models.

– A small number of iPhone users may be unable to connect to a cellular network after updating to iOS 26.

– Photos taken under certain lighting conditions with iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models may include unexpected artifacts.

– App icons may appear blank after adding a custom tint.

– VoiceOver may become disabled for some users after updating to iOS 26.

A similar report from Forbes also indicates that iOS 18.7.1 will be improved with these bug fixes.

"iOS 26.0.1 is available for iPhone 11 and later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation and later, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 8th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later," Forbes writes.

"Meanwhile, iOS 18.7.1 is available for iPhone XS and later, iPad Pro 13-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation and later, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 7th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later."

Here's how you can update your iPhone manually, according to Apple Support:

– Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.

– Tap General, then tap Software Update.

– The currently installed version of iOS is shown, and whether an update is available.

If an update is available, tap Download and Install, then follow the onscreen instructions. – Jacksonville Journal-Courier, Ill./Tribune News Service
