LOS ANGELES: Apple is gearing up to unveil its latest generation of iPhones in two weeks and has announced plans for a launch event at its headquarters in Cupertino on September 9.

As usual, Apple has not disclosed what the event will focus on. However, September events traditionally feature new models of the iPhone as well as the Apple Watch.

According to media reports, this year's line-up will include a slimmer iPhone model. The iPhone 17 will reportedly resemble the current iPhone 16 series in appearance but will feature an improved camera and a larger display, business wire Bloomberg has reported.
