Battle royale game PUBG Mobile has announced the addition of a pocong outfit as part of its ‘Malaysian Ghost Stories’-inspired collection, called 'Jelmaan' or sightings.

The Restless Pocong outfit will have your avatar dressed in an all-white cloth outfit complete with ghostly makeup and signature pointy pocong headgear.

The outfit is part of a Restless Pocong set, which also features other items namely the Pocong Shadow (gun), Pocong wanderer (backpack) and Elusive Pocong (frying pan accessory).

The company in a statement today (Oct 8) said the Pocong outfit was a collaboration between PUBG Mobile’s internal game designers from Indonesia and Malaysia, where the Pocong skin was designed by its Indonesian team while the gun skin was designed by its Malaysian team.

In order to obtain the items in the Pocong set, which is categorised as Mythic level or high rarity, users need to take a spin on the wheel in a lucky chance event available in the game.

The company said each lucky spin attempt costs as low as 10 UC (the in-game currency Unknown Cash) so "players don't have to worry about breaking the bank".

The lucky chance event to unlock items in the Pocong set is available until Nov 11.

Players can also expect to see other ghost-inspired items being released in the game in the future, including a Pontianak gun skin.

PUBG Mobile is a free-to-play mobile game available on both Android and iOS platforms.
