BERLIN: The IT help tool TeamViewer has introduced a new rule requiring anyone to log into an account before the can remotely access software on another person's computer.

Previously, anyone pretending to be an IT employee from your own workplace or a tech company like Microsoft or Google, could in theory request access to your computer for nefarious purposes.
