A 54-year-old man is accused of hiding cameras in a Starbucks bathroom in California, prosecutors say.

Steven John Novelli was charged on Monday, Aug 29, with 83 felony and misdemeanor charges, the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release.

Those charges included attempting to produce child pornography, eavesdropping, installing a hidden camera and burglary.

Novelli is accused of twice hiding cameras in a Starbucks bathroom in Walnut Creek at 1340 Main St., prosecutors said.

Authorities found digital evidence he had hid the cameras after conducting a search warrant on his home on Aug 10, the release states.

He was then arrested on Aug 25 and arraigned on Aug 30.
