Netflix is bringing a 'cinematic' audio experience to subscribers

Is Netflix hoping to turn our homes into veritable movie theatres? The streaming platform is putting more and more emphasis on the quality of its content. After rolling out improved image quality, the American giant is now tackling sound by offering spatial audio for shows like Stranger Things.

"Netflix spatial audio helps to translate the cinematic experience of immersive audio to any stereo, so the work creators do to bring you into the story happens no matter what device you use to watch Netflix," said the streaming giant in a news release.
