The bigger display means the device can support using two applications in parallel using a Split-screen function. It can also support high resolution video calls to up to 12 participants on MeeTime, Huawei’s proprietary video and call service.

The company says the latest model is lightweight at 255g with slimmer design and thickness measuring at 5.4mm when unfolded and 111.1m when folded. The device is also built with Composite Screen where the company claims that the material helps to improve the device’s shock resistance.

The device comes with three rear cameras starting with a 50-megapixel True-Chroma camera, 13-megapixel 120° ultra wide angle camera and 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The company claims that its XD Fusion Pro True-Chroma Image Engine comes with a P3 colour gamut, 10-channel multi-spectrum sensor, and 2,000+ colour adjustments features which allow users to capture vibrant images with more details. It also supports 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom.

For selfies, there is a 10.7-megapixel camera with ultra wide angle and a mirror shooting mode to let users preview their images on a secondary display. Other features include slow-motion and panorama.
