Celcom to run scheduled network maintenance in the early hours of May 29

Celcom will be conducting scheduled network maintenance from 12.15am-4am tomorrow (May 29), which may affect its service for customers in the Klang Valley and Pahang. — KHOR SOW YEE/The Star

Celcom customers in the Klang Valley and Pahang may experience service disruptions at midnight, as the telco conducts scheduled network maintenance.

The maintenance is set to run from 12.15am-4am on May 29, which could interrupt services like Internet connectivity or phone calls.

The affected areas in Selangor are Hulu Selangor, Sungai Besar, Sungai Buloh, Sabak Bernam, Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor, Jeram, Banting, Klang, Port Klang, Sungai Pelek, Shah Alam, Puchong, Kg Melayu Subang, Bestari Jaya, Ijok, Kapar, Meru, Bandar Puteri, Taipan, Tanjung Karang, Rawang, Bandar Puchong Jaya.

Customers in Putrajaya and Bukit Tinggi, Pahang will also be affected.

“If you experience any service interruption after any maintenance activity, please switch the flight mode on your device on and off or restart your device to refresh your network connectivity,” Celcom advised on its site.

It added that maintenance activities were usually scheduled between 12am-6am, though activities could also be scheduled at other times.
