You probably don't need to upgrade your smartphone to the latest flashiest model. But then again, your old phone would make a great navigator for your car or bike. Here's how to upcycle an old phone into a screen for mapping or a dashcam for your car.

What do you do with your old smartphone when you get a new model? They're too expensive to just throw in the bin. One thing they can be useful for is navigating unfamiliar routes when you're driving, cycling or hiking.
