iPhones with ‘Fortnite’ installed valued at US$10,000 on Ebay

Fortnite can no longer be downloaded from the App Store. But if you already had it installed on your iPhone, you can keep playing it. Some iPhone gamers believe this makes their devices worth thousands more. — dpa

Following Apple’s decision to boot the Fortnite game off its App Store, Ebay has been flooded with offers for iPhones where the cult shooter-survival game is pre-installed, with some sellers asking for as much as US$10,000 (RM41,675).

While iPhone gamers are allowed to continue playing if they already had it installed, Apple users are no longer allowed to download the game from the App Store after developer Epic was banned for attempting to bypass Apple’s controversially high cut on app sales.
